There is quite a difference between Jury System and Judge System! |

Right now, it is trial by media. I am not sure how jury system will actually work in India as it will bring in strong cultural moores into the Judgments. If the cultural moore of judes does not allow adult girl to marry on her wishes, it will be distastrous and take India back to mediveal centuries. Be careful in propogating such a syste, |

Jury system is evolution of the Democratic system, which allows individual to be the part of the judicial system. I intent to write more on this subject plz hang on to it. |

how about introducing jury system back in india as a lot of people realy do know law reasonably well than in the past? My feeling about jury system is the judge gets cross section of peple opinion on any issue before judges who simply follow statury law in most cases unlike in a writ under 226. so i support jury system is back besides it can reduce any corrupt practices, as i believe so! |
